Vincent (Vinny) Capulli, a lifelong resident of Eastchester/Tuckahoe and formerly of Scarsdale, passed away peacefully on March 30th 2024 at the age of 90. He was born on March 12, 1934 to Adriano and Candida Capulli in San Vittorino, Italy. Vinny emigrated to America in 1947 along with his mother and older brother Marino, to reunite with his father and oldest brother Albert.

Vinny was a well known craftsman who worked magic with his tools for the price of a cup of coffee! He was an avid hunter and longtime member of the Eastchester Rod and Gun Club.

Vinny will be greatly missed by his children Vincent M Capulli, Linda McGuinn and son in law Michael. He was a loving and devoted Poppi to his grandchildren Amanda (TJ Ciccone), Michael Vincent and John Thomas (Chloe) McGuinn. He was blessed with a great grand son, Declan Louis Ciccone. Vinny is survived by his oldest brother, Albert Capulli and sisters in law Barbara Capulli and Margherite “Mick” Harley (Dan) and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Vinny was predeceased by his wife Clara, brother Marino, brothers-in-law Ray and Rel Mirra, sisters-in-law Licia Capulli, Jeanne and Anna Mirra.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 3, 2024 from 2-6pm at the Westchester Funeral Home, Eastchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 4, 2024 at 10:30 am at the Assumption Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at the Mount Calvary Cemetery.
