C. Alan Benedict, Licensed Funeral Director

A fifth-generation funeral director, Alan Benedict joined the family firm after graduating from Colgate University in 1956. He is dedicated to community service, serving as past president of the Eastchester Rotary, Eastchester Tuckahoe Chamber of Commerce, and the Eastchester Beautification Committee. He has also served as Chair of the Jansen Memorial Hospice Program. Alan is one of the founding board members of the Westchester Task Force, which was organized in 1990. This volunteer program focuses on helping children with their grief and loss. In addition, Alan enjoys presenting educational seminars within the community to help individuals cope with death and grieving. He has been a member of Asbury Methodist Church for many years.

Maria Benedict

After the death of Alan’s father, Charles A. Benedict, Maria joined the firm in an administrative capacity. She is a former nurse and graduate of the Bellevue Nursing School. Along with her husband, Alan, Maria is also one of the original founders of the Westchester Task Force. Through this program, Maria shows her passion for helping children cope with grief and loss. A member of Immaculate Conception Church, Maria is past president of the Catholic Women’s Club, served on the liturgy committee and parish council, and is the creator of the company’s Thanatology Library. She also devotes her time to working with other bereavement support groups within the community.

Carrie Benedict Foley, Licensed Funeral Director

Carrie represents the sixth generation of the Benedict heritage. She joined the firm after she graduated Cum Laude from St. Lawrence University in 1995, and completed her professional education at SUNY-Canton's mortuary science school, where she graduated with highest honors. She actually started her career much earlier, working with her father as an intern during college vacations. She has been a licensed funeral director since 1997. She is a member of the board and served as Secretary of the Eastchester/Tuckahoe Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Eastchester Rotary Club. She is also a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Carrie and her husband, Daniel, have five children, Erin, Kiera, Brianne, Kendall and TJ Foley.

Anthony Imperiale, Licensed Funeral Director

Licensed funeral director Anthony Imperiale brings strong family values and professionalism to Westchester Funeral Home.  A proud and dedicated funeral director since 1985, Anthony has served the Westchester community as well as being a licensed funeral director in Connecticut, specializing in Restorative Art.  Over the years, Anthony has cultivated a unique blend of Old-World embalming techniques meshed with modern technology which far surpasses industry standards.  Anthony is a graduate of the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, and at the age of 19 was the youngest Licensed Funeral Director in New York state.  Anthony has been an active member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale for many years.  He also served as one of the original Pet Therapy volunteers at White Plains Hospital.  In his spare time, Anthony enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, landscaping and tending to his Koi pond.  He lives in New Rochelle with his wife Kathy, and his two daughters Camryn and Danielle.

Patrick Bennett

Pat joined Westchester Funeral Home in 2005, after retiring with 25 years of service to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York City. Pat is a Veteran of the United States Army. He is also an active member of the MTA Emerald Society, along with the local Bicycle Club. He was born and raised in the Bronx and is a proud father and grandfather.

Cornelia Santos

Cornelia Santos is a dedicated member of the staff who is responsible for maintaining our facility. She has been with Westchester Funeral Home for many years. She, her husband Claudio and daughter Alexis are members of Our Lady Of Victory Church in Mount Vernon. Her free time is spent watching movies, going to the beach and cooking.
